ACTIVITIES & EVENTS FOR THE WEEK BEGINNING SUNDAY 21st July 2024 – SIXTEENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

Valentina Elizabeth FARROW will be baptised at 1p.m. today.

The flowers at the Altar are to commemorate the forthcoming Golden Wedding Anniversary of Fr Clive & Alison.

A raffle is being held  to raise money for the joint youth pilgrimage to Walsingham. The prize is a selection of M&S goodies and today is the last opportunity to buy tickets, they are £2 each.

On Wednesday, there will be our Coffee Morning after the 9.30a.m. Mass.

Bishop of Beverley’s Northern Festival is on Saturday in York Minster at 11a.m. For those travelling by coach, it will leave Church at 9.15 a.m.and return by 5.00 p.m. Consequently, there will be NO 9.30a.m. Mass.

Next Sunday Said Mass is at 8.00a.m. & the Parish Mass at 10.45a.m. 

After the Parish Mass next Sunday, 28th July, Fr Clive & Alison would love you to stay on for ‘fizz’ and cake to help celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary, which actually falls on Saturday 3rd August, but they are away with family that weekend.

Also next Sunday it’s the Centenary Festival and Celebration at Nicholas, Ryecroft at 3pm. All are welcome.
