Activities & Events for the week beginning Sunday 13th  January 2019

‘Tots on Tuesday’ resumes this week at 9.30 a.m. for one hour for
children of pre-school age, together with their parents, grandparents or carers.

On Tuesday, it is our ‘Tea Service for Seniors’ at 2.30pm. This will
consist of a short Service followed by Afternoon Tea. If you know of anyone,
neighbour or friend, who might like to come, please speak to Fr. Andrew.

Tuesday Church for Children resumes with their New Year Party from
6.00pm to 7.30pm.

On Wednesday, there will be the Coffee Morning after the 9.30 a.m. Mass.

On Wednesday evening at 7pm it is the monthly meeting of the Mothers’
Union, the speaker will be Andrea on the Women’s Refuge. All welcome.

The next Deanery Synod will take place on Thursday at St Francis Church, Bessacarr, at 7.00 for 7.30pm. The meeting will explore the new Diocesan Strategy and how individual parishes, the Deanery and the Diocese can support each other and progress.This is an open meeting to give to all interested parish members the opportunity to understand and discuss the implications for the deanery and its parishes.There is a notice in the porch.
OMG will resume this week on Thursday from 7pm to 9pm.

Next Sunday Mass will be Celebrated at the usual times of 8am and the Parish Mass at 10am.

The Burns Night Supper will be held on Saturday January 26th in church. Tickets now available at £10 each. Haggis and traditional food available, starter, main course, dessert and cheeseboard. Please bring your own alcohol….wear something tartan and join in the fun!!!
