Activities & Events for the week beginning Sunday 16th June 2019

‘Tots’ on Tuesday continues this week at 9.30 a.m. for one hour for children
of pre-school age, together with their parents, grandparents or carers.

On Tuesday, it is our ‘Tea Service for Seniors’ at 2.30pm. If you know of
anyone, who might like to come, please speak to Fr. Andrew.

Tuesday Church for Children continues from 6.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.

On Wednesday, there will be our Coffee Morning after the 9.30 a.m. Mass.

The Mothers’ Union will meet on Wednesday at 7p.m. The speaker will be Jane Price on ‘ A funny thing happened on the way to the Crem’.!!!

OMG continues this week on Thursday from 7.00 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.

On Saturday it is the Day Pilgrimage to Walsingham. We will meet outside
church from where the coach will leave at 7.30am. It will pick up at Rossington at 7.45am. We intend to leave Walsingham for the return journey around 4.30pm. Consequently there will be NO Mass Saturday morning.

On Saturday evening at 7.30 p.m., there is a concert by the Doncaster
Ladies Choir (with guest mezzo soprano Beverly Davis-Clegg)
at Hall Cross Lower School, Tickets are £8 (including refreshments) and are
available In advance from Rita Hannam Tel. 536196, or pay at the door.

Next Sunday Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. and the Parish Mass at 10a.m.

Our Summer Fair will be held in church and the churchyard on Saturday 29th June from 11 am to 3pm. Please bring items for the raffle, tombola and other stalls. Please sign up on the list in the porch if you are able to help,
New volunteers are always welcome.

Diocesan Strategy – Deanery Visit by Bishop Pete. This will take place on Saturday 20th July from 10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. at Holy Trinity,
Deaf School Chapel. Lunch will be provided! If you intend to go to this really important occasion, please add your name to the list at the back of church, this will assist with catering arrangements.
