Activities & Events for the week beginning Sunday 24th  June 2018

Today, Lucy Isabelle Bean will be baptized at 12.00 Noon and Joel Frederick Wheatley will be baptized at 1.00 p.m.

This afternoon it is the Patronal Festival at Saint John the Baptist,
Church Street, Mexborough, beginning at 4pm. All are welcome.

‘Tots on Tuesday’ continues this week at 9.30 a.m. for one hour for
children of pre-school age, together with their parents, grandparents
or carers.

On Wednesday, there will be our Coffee Morning after the 9.30 Mass.

On Thursday evening, the OMG Group, for the 11 yrs to 16 yrs age group, will meet at 7.p.m. to 9.p.m.

Our Summer Fair will be held in church and the churchyard on Saturday from 11 am to 3pm. Please continue to bring items for the raffle, tombola and other stalls. Plenty of helpers on the day will be needed. Please come yourselves and invite your friends, neighbours and members of your family.

Next Sunday – Mass will be celebrated at the usual times of
8.00 a.m. & 10.00 a.m.

Messy Church taster day Saturday 7th July 1-4pm St Hugh of Lincoln Church, New Cantley. Messy Church is church with a difference. A chance for children and families to get together, be creative, have fun and hear more about Jesus. It’s a free event (donations welcome – especially buns!) we’re looking for people to help on the day too, so please get in touch with me to find out more.
