Welcome to the page for the Children, Youth and Families work in the parish.
Hi, I’m Kirsty and I’m the Children, Youth and Families Worker for the two churches in Cantley – St Wilfrid’s and St Hugh of Lincoln. I am employed as part of the Diocese of Sheffield’s Centenary Project. The Centenary Project is a commitment by the Diocese to communities across South Yorkshire to support children’s, families’ and young people’s work to serve the common good, to nurture faith and to grow disciples.
You can find out more about the Centenary Project and the workers on the Diocese website.
So what does that mean in the Parish? I’m working with existing children’s and youth groups. I’m building on links with Branton St Wilfrid and Hawthorn Primary Schools and building new links with other local schools.
